Universal Granite & Marble Inc

We’ve been running Universal Granite & Marble Inc for a good while now from our spot at Up-83 Maurya Enclave in Pitampura. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and our yard is usually stacked high with different slabs of stone. People come by when they are renovating their homes or fixing up a shop floor. We carry a lot of granite and marble, mostly just what builders and homeowners need for everyday projects. The yard gets quite dusty from all the cutting and moving, but that’s just how it is in this business. My family started this because we saw so much construction happening around the city. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It’s just us, the stone, and the tools we use to get it ready. If you walk past the enclave, you’ll probably see the big trucks unloading heavy pieces from the quarries. It’s tough, heavy work. We spend most of our days measuring things out and making sure the edges are clean enough for the masons. Sometimes the colors of the stone aren't exactly what people expect, so we always tell them to come down and look at the actual piece before they buy it. The Delhi heat makes the work pretty tiring during the summer months, but we just keep at it. Most of the folks in Pitampura know us by now. We just handle the stone and try to get it delivered. I think we have been here long enough that people just trust we will be around.
