We've been at this spot in Baljeet Nagar for a good while now. It’s a bit of a busy area in New Delhi, especially around West Patel Nagar, but we like it here. Ritu Stone is basically just us working with slabs and tiles every day. It gets pretty dusty in the yard, and some days are louder than others when the trucks come in to unload. We spend most of our time showing people different types of granite or marble and trying to figure out what fits their floor. It’s not always easy because every piece of stone looks a bit different once you get it under the light. We have a small office at B-22/A and that's where we do all the paperwork and drink way too much tea during the winter months. People stop by, ask for prices, and sometimes they just want to chat about their home renovation. We try to keep things simple. If a slab is cracked or has a weird vein, we tell you. There's no point in hiding it because you’ll see it eventually. The traffic around here can be a real pain in the afternoon, but that’s just how Delhi is. We’ve grown used to the noise from the street. We aren't some giant corporation with fancy brochures; it’s just a few of us making sure the orders go out and the stone gets delivered without too much trouble. It's honest work and keeps us busy.
