Up on the top floor of E-149 in Sector-22, Noida, you’ll find our office. Universal Construction Machinery &Equipments Pvt. Ltd. isn't a ground-floor operation here. Being in Noida means we are right in the middle of all the building work happening around Delhi. It’s a busy sector, and there is always something going on outside the window, like trucks rumbling by or people shouting on their way to work. Our space is filled with desks, some old computers, and a lot of maps of construction sites. We handle the equipment side of things, making sure the right mixers and cranes get to the right places. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at logistics charts that never seem to stay updated for long. The elevator in this building has its moods, so sometimes we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving and awake during the afternoon slump. We don't go in for fancy decor or anything special. We just need a place to sit and organize the work for the day. The team is small and we’ve been through a lot of projects together, some easy and some a real pain. We know which sites are easy to deal with and which ones are going to be a headache before the call even ends. Sector-22 is a good spot for us, easy to get to and lots of places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We aren't here to change the world.
