Our business is based out of District Gopalganj in Bihar. We operate in a way that fits the pace of the local area. It is not like the big city offices you see in movies. Here, we deal with a lot of dust and the changing weather which affects how we move the tiles around. The office is a practical space where we sit and talk to the local contractors and people building their own houses. We have a lot of different tiles stored nearby, and we spend a good chunk of our day checking the stock and making sure nothing is chipped or broken. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work by the light of the door. It is a very hands-on job. We don't use a lot of complicated technology; mostly we just rely on our notebooks and our memory of what is in stock. The roads around here can be tough for the trucks, especially after it rains, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the delivery schedules. It is a simple life, and we are just glad to be part of the community here in Bihar. We try to be fair with everyone who walks in, showing them the tiles we have and telling them exactly when they can expect their order to arrive.
