You can find us at Khanna Market, specifically units 45 and 46. We are right near the Delhi GPO, so it’s a very hectic area to be in. Every day is a mix of unloading crates and trying to find space for new ones that just arrived. The market is always crowded with people buying things and trucks trying to navigate the narrow lanes without bumping into the stalls. Our shop is full of wooden pallets and heavy-duty plastic wrap. We move cargo for all sorts of people. Some days it’s small boxes, other times it’s huge machinery that takes four people to move carefully. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a workspace with a couple of chairs and a lot of floor space for the goods. The walls are a bit scuffed from all the boxes bumping into them over the months. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the drivers who come in and out. There’s a specific smell to the market, a mix of old paper, spices, and diesel engines. We’ve been part of the Khanna Market scene for a long time. It’s not a quiet life, but we like the energy of the place and the people around us. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool and we don’t stop.
