Surya Tej Earth Movers (Pvt) Ltd. is tucked away on the first floor of building No-768/46 in Lekhu Nagar. If you know Tri Nagar, you know how busy these streets can get. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the office is usually filled with the sound of the traffic outside. We deal with the heavy stuff—excavators, loaders, and all that. Even though the name says Private Limited, it’s really just a small team of us handling the operations. My desk is usually covered in site maps and maintenance logs. We spend most of our time coordinating where the machines need to go. It’s a lot of phone calls back and forth with operators who are out in the field. Sometimes the equipment breaks down at the worst possible moment, and we have to scramble to get a mechanic out there. That’s just the nature of the earth-moving business. We’ve been in this part of Tri Nagar for a few years now. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so it’s a familiar environment. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. Most of our work happens out on the dusty construction sites, far away from this office. It’s hard work, and the hours are often long and unpredictable. We just try to keep the machines running and the projects moving along as best as we can.
