Sumeet Traders

Sumeet Traders is located at Shop No 1155 on Railway Road in Shahdara. It’s a busy area, especially with the trains nearby and all the people moving cargo. We’ve been working out of this shop for a long time. It’s a small space, filled mostly with boxes and ledgers. We don't have a fancy showroom or any bright lights. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or helping people who come in looking for specific parts or goods. It’s a lot of paperwork and heavy lifting, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the afternoon. We aren't part of a big corporation; it’s just us here at the shop. The floor is concrete and the walls have a few scuffs from moving crates around. We don't mind it because it’s a working shop. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the trains go by. We’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers on Railway Road pretty well over the years. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just open up in the morning, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple way to earn a living in Shahdara. We just try to keep things honest and keep the shelves stocked with whatever folks are looking for. That is basically all there is to it for us.
