Star Worldwide Logistics

Star Worldwide Logistics is run out of Bharat Nagar. We are at House No 214 on the ground floor. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of a market. Our office is basically just a few rooms in the front of the house. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us. We handle logistics, which basically means we spend our whole day on the phone trying to find out where a truck is or why a shipment is late. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it gets stressful when things don't go as planned. The ground floor at 214 is full of papers and some samples of things we’ve shipped. We have a small desk where we do all the typing and filing. Bharat Nagar is a decent place to work, though sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains really hard and we have to move the boxes up higher. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees, just a small group of us making sure things get where they need to go. We don't use any fancy software, just some basic stuff and a lot of phone calls. Most of our day is spent dealing with paperwork and talking to the local drivers who come by to pick up their orders. It’s a simple setup but it works for us.
