Our place is at House Number 437 in Meerpur Cant, Kanpur. Being in the Cantonment area means it’s a lot quieter and greener than the rest of the city. The house is an older structure, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings that stay a bit cooler in the harsh Kanpur summers. We’ve set up our Somany Ceramics operations right here. It’s a bit of a different vibe than a modern office building. We have the inventory records spread out on big wooden desks, and the front area is usually where we meet people who stop by. The roads around here are wide and lined with trees, which makes the morning commute actually pleasant. We’ve been based in Meerpur for a while now, and we like the steady pace of this neighborhood. It’s not as chaotic as the main markets. Sometimes we have to deal with the power cuts, but that’s just how it goes here. We have a small team, and we all know the local area well. There isn't any fancy signage, just our address and the work we do every day. We focus on getting the ceramic supplies out to the local contractors and builders. It’s honest work in a part of Kanpur that still feels a bit like the old days. We appreciate the space we have here and don't really feel the need for a modern high-rise office.
