Singhal Marble & Tiles

Our shop is located at F-26 on Parwana Road in the Jagatpuri area. It’s a place where we keep all kinds of marble and tiles stacked up for people to see. The street outside can get quite crowded, especially on weekends when everyone is out doing their house shopping. We started this place because we knew a bit about stone and figured Jagatpuri was a good spot for it. There’s dust everywhere because that’s just what happens when you move tiles around all day. We try to keep it clean but it’s a losing battle most of the time. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading the tempos that come by. Sometimes the stock takes up too much room and we have to shuffle things around to make space for a new delivery. It’s not a shiny showroom like you see in the big malls. It’s just a practical space where you can look at the actual slabs. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and homeowners who are trying to figure out what fits their budget. Parwana Road has a lot of shops, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in, and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers around here. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer to walk in.
