You’ll find us at Plot No-70/1/1 in the Marble Market of Mangolpuri, which is right near the Allahabad Bank. This whole market is dedicated to stone, so the air is always a bit white with dust. We have our own little plot where we keep our marble and tiles. It’s a crowded area and parking can be a real nightmare, but that’s just life in Mangolpuri. We have been working in this market for years. We know the other dealers and we know what kind of stone people in this city usually like for their homes. Our place is more of a yard than a shop. We have slabs leaning everywhere and you have to be careful where you walk. We don’t have any fancy brochures or websites. People just show up because they know this is where the marble is. We spend our days bargaining with suppliers and helping customers load up their trucks. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the evening, we are usually ready to close up and head home. The bank nearby is a good landmark if you’re coming for the first time. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just sell stone and try to keep our head down and work. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to spend the day.
