Shree Shivam Marbles

At Shree Shivam Marbles, we operate out of Plot No. 70/11 in the Mangolpuri Kalan section of the Marble Market. It’s a gritty kind of place, just like the rest of the industrial area around here. We have rows and rows of marble slabs leaned up against each other. Some are from local quarries and others come from further away. The main thing is just keeping track of what we have. When a customer comes in, they usually have a rough idea of what they want, but seeing the full slabs in person always changes their mind. We spend a lot of time shuffling stones so people can see the pieces at the back of the stack. It’s physical work and your hands get rough from the stone and the water. The market here in Mangolpuri is competitive, but we just stay in our corner at Plot 70/11 and do our own thing. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us and a few workers who know how to handle the heavy lifting. We see a lot of people from the nearby residential colonies coming in to pick stuff for their renovations. We try to keep the yard accessible, though it gets cramped when new stock arrives. It’s just a regular stone yard where we try to keep things honest and get the trucks loaded on time. That’s the daily life for us here.
