Our shop is tucked away in Ram Bazaar, right near Kashmere Gate. If you know the area, we are pretty close to Dor Wali Gali. It’s a crowded spot, especially in the afternoons. We handle a lot of hydraulic parts and heavy machinery bits here at Plot No-1/71. The floor is usually a bit oily because that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve got tools scattered around and benches where we take things apart. It’s loud because of the traffic outside and the sound of metal hitting metal inside. My brother and I run the daily operations. We don't have a big office or a front desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is standing by the lathes. Most of our day is spent looking at seals, pumps, and hoses. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive, so we have stuff sitting in crates waiting. We’ve been at this for years. We know the shortcuts around Kashmere Gate to get things delivered faster. It's not a clean job, but it’s what we do. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the machines to finish a cycle.
