We are located in Chandigarh at H.No-2113, Ashiana Enclave, in Sector-48C. It’s a quiet spot compared to some of our other offices, which is nice for getting through the mountain of paperwork that comes with heavy industry. Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt. Ltd. uses this space to manage things in this region. The office is basically a house that we’ve converted, so it has a bit of a homey feel. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and the shelves are full of catalogs for cranes and earthmovers. Chandigarh is so organized with its sectors, so finding us isn’t usually a problem for people. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just the house number. Most of the time it’s just us typing away or talking to customers on the mobile. We don’t go in for big corporate speeches or anything. We just want to make sure the equipment gets to the right place at the right time. There’s a small garden area outside where we sometimes sit for a minute to get some air. It’s a decent place to work. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down when we are moving things. It’s a straightforward setup for a business that deals with very large machines. We like the balance of a quiet office and heavy-duty work.
