Rashtriya Rajdhani Tempo Union

We started this union quite some time back to help manage the tempo drivers around here. Being in Sushant Lok Phase I at LG-11/12 makes it easy for guys to drop by after a long shift. It gets busy during the mornings when everyone is trying to figure out their routes or talking about the traffic on the main roads. We don't have a big fancy setup, just a few desks and some chairs where drivers sit and talk shop. Most of us have been doing this for years so we know the local streets better than anyone else. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is just us drinking tea and waiting for the next load. The basement spot stays relatively cool in the summer which is nice when it is baking outside. People come to us when they need a tempo for shifting things or just moving stuff across the city. We try to keep things organized but it is a lot of people to manage. It's not always perfect but the work gets done and the goods get where they need to go. If you walk down to the lower ground floor you will find us there usually. We keep the paperwork in some old folders and try to make sure everyone gets a fair share of the work. It is just a bunch of people trying to make a living with their vehicles. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there forever and the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise but we don't mind it much.
