Working out of Nehru Place is always a bit of a headache with the parking and the crowds. Our office is in G-6 of the Hemkunt Chambers at number 89. It’s a tall building, and the elevators are usually full, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying much. Inside, it’s mostly just people typing away or looking at screens. We handle a lot of the logistical side of things for Pan Asia Logistics (India) Pvt Ltd. It isn't like the warehouses where you see the goods; here it is all about the documents and the tracking numbers. The air conditioning is okay, but it struggles when there are too many people in the room. We get a lot of couriers coming in and out all day long. Sometimes it feels like we are just buried under stacks of paper. The lunch break is usually the best part of the day because there are so many food stalls around Nehru Place. We usually just grab something quick and come back to finish the afternoon shift. It’s a professional enough environment, but we still have our moments where things get chaotic. Computers crash, or a file goes missing for an hour. We just deal with it as it comes. It's a standard office job in a very busy part of Delhi. We've been here long enough that the security guards know us by name and the local tea guy knows exactly how we like it.
