Old Machineries

We are located over at Gali No 9 in Anand Parbat, right at B 29 D. This place, Old Machineries, is exactly what the name says. We deal with stuff that’s been around the block a few times. The shop is usually full of grease and metal parts because that’s what we work with all day. It’s a busy street, always someone moving something heavy. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us. It’s not a clean showroom with bright lights. Most of the machines are heavy and take up a lot of floor space. We spend our time checking parts, cleaning things up, and making sure everything works like it should. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going. If you come looking for us, you’ll probably find us mid-job with a wrench in hand. That’s just the way it is here. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. If the door is open, someone is working. We see a lot of people looking for specific parts that aren’t made anymore. It’s like a puzzle sometimes, trying to find the right piece for an old engine or a lathe. We keep at it until it’s right. It's a grit-and-grime kind of life, but it suits us fine. There is always something to fix or move around the yard. It gets pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just part of the deal in this part of town.
