Our workshop is tucked away at Plot No-1862 in Kucha Faulad Khan, over in Kalan Mahal. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are narrow and there’s always something going on. We go by M.R. Creations, and we spend our days making things. It’s a lot of manual labor, often with old tools that have been passed down. The space is filled with the smell of materials and the sound of people working. It’s not a quiet place. We don't have a big showroom with lights and mirrors. If you want to see what we make, you just come into the back where the work is happening. The area around Kucha Faulad Khan has a lot of history, and we feel like we are a small part of that. We aren't interested in being a huge company. We just want to make sure the things we create are done right. Sometimes we stay late to finish a piece because we don't like leaving things halfway. Most of us learned the trade from our fathers or uncles. It’s a traditional way of working, without many modern gadgets. We just use our hands and our eyes. It’s a tough life sometimes, especially when it’s hot, but we are proud of the work we do. We don't have much of an office, just a small desk in the corner.
