You can find us at Plot No. 70/1/1 in the Marble Market. This part of Mangol Pur Kalan is always dusty and loud, which is normal for a place that sells stone. We have been selling marble here for quite some time. We have all kinds of slabs piled up. Some are from nearby and some come from far away. It’s heavy work. Moving these pieces around takes a lot of effort and a bit of luck so nothing breaks. We don't have a shiny showroom with air conditioning. It’s just an open yard mostly. You come in, look at the patterns, and see what fits your house. We try to give people a fair price without too much haggling, though a little bit is expected. Our staff is just a few guys who know how to handle the stone. We don't wear uniforms. Usually, we are just covered in white dust by the end of the shift. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the stone, we show the stone, and we sell it. There’s no secret to it. The sun can be quite brutal in the afternoons, so we take our breaks under the shade of the larger slabs. If you need something for your floor or kitchen, we probably have something that will work. Just don't expect a red carpet. We've been at this plot for years and the work never really stops.
