Metro Glass Co.

Metro Glass Co. is located over in Jenda Colony, right on the Main Road in Fatehpur Beri. We’re situated quite close to Sai Medicos, so that’s the easiest way to explain where we are to people who haven't visited before. Glass is a tough material to work with every day. It’s heavy and you have to be careful not to break it or cut yourself. We spend our hours cutting, measuring, and moving large sheets around the shop. The floor is usually covered in little bits of glass, so we always have to wear thick boots to stay safe. It’s never a quiet place here. You’ll always hear the sound of a glass cutter or someone loading up a frame into a truck. We’ve been in this part of Fatehpur Beri for a long time now. We see thousands of people passing by on the main road every day. Sometimes a neighbor just needs a small piece for a picture frame or a broken window, and other times it’s a big order for a new house. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and displays. It’s just stacks of glass and the tools we use to work it. My hands have a few scars from over the years, but that’s just how it is in this trade. We just try to get the measurements exactly right. It’s a straightforward business and we just do our job without making a fuss.
