You can find Jehlum Goods Transport Company at Shop No 17 along Qutab Road. It is a busy stretch of road with lots of small shops and people moving about. We operate from this small space, which is usually packed with ledgers and maybe a few crates waiting to go out. The street outside is always full of energy, with rickshaws and carts passing by at every hour. We focus on moving goods for the local markets and traders around here. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and shifting boxes into the small trucks that can fit through these narrow lanes. We’ve been at Shop 17 for quite a long time now. Everyone on the block knows us by name. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable people who know how to handle the goods carefully. There isn't any fancy lobby or air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums all day and some old wooden stools. We spend a lot of time on the sidewalk, watching the loaders work and talking to customers. It’s a simple life, and we take pride in just getting the job done. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, but we don't really stop for that. We just cover the goods with tarps and keep going. If you come by, you’ll likely see us sorting out the day’s deliveries right there on the shop floor. That is how we have always done it.
