Our office for Jainco Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd. is on the first floor at Plot No.2762 on Hamilton Road. Being near Mori Gate and the bus stand means it’s always loud and crowded outside. There are people everywhere and the sound of buses honking is constant. Up here on the first floor, it’s a bit quieter, but not much. We deal with earthmoving machinery, which is big and heavy stuff, though we mostly handle the parts and the sales side from this specific office. It’s a busy place with a lot of people coming in and out to ask about spare parts or prices. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit steep and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We have rows of shelves filled with heavy metal components and catalogs that are well-thumbed. We don't really have a marketing department; we just talk to the operators and contractors who need their machines back in the dirt. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the office feel very small, but we keep the windows open to catch any breeze from Hamilton Road. It’s a practical workspace for a practical business. We’ve been near the bus stand for a long time, and we don’t plan on moving anywhere else.
