Jai Shree Ram Marble

You can find Jai Shree Ram Marble at No.-F- 72 on Street No.-10. We’re over in Jagat Puri, not far from the Ambedkar Gate. It’s a tight neighborhood, so navigating the trucks in and out of the street can be a real challenge sometimes. I’ve been working with stone for a long time, and this shop is where I spend most of my waking hours. We have slabs of marble lined up along the walls, and the floor is usually covered in a thin layer of white dust. It’s just the nature of the business. People come by from all over Jagat Puri when they’re remodeling their kitchens or putting in new floors. I show them the different grains and colors we have in stock. It’s heavy, dirty work, but there’s something nice about seeing a piece of stone go from a rough slab to a finished part of someone’s home. I don’t use any fancy sales talk. If a piece has a crack, I’ll point it out. It’s better to be straight with people. My shop isn’t much to look at from the outside, but we’ve got good material. We’ve been on Street No.-10 for years, and most of our business comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It's a simple life, moving heavy things and talking to people about their homes. I keep the doors open late most nights because that's when people are off work and can finally come look.
