Jag Basant Logistics Pvt Ltd is based at Q-4 on Mathura Road, though we’re often dealing with things over near Rajouri Garden too. It’s a busy stretch of road and we’re right in the thick of it. We spend our time managing the flow of goods coming in and out. It’s not a quiet office; there’s always someone coming in to sign a paper or check on a shipment. We’ve got a small team and we’ve all been doing this long enough that we don’t need much explaining. The floor is usually covered in scuff marks from boots and heavy boxes. We aren't into the corporate way of doing things. We just talk to the customers like normal people and tell them the truth about when their stuff will arrive. Sometimes the trucks are slow because of the weather or the police checkpoints. We just relay that information and keep going. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the drivers have what they need. We’re just a local business on Mathura Road trying to stay organized in a chaotic industry. Nothing is ever perfectly on time in this business, but we do our best to keep things moving. It's just what we do every day. We don't have fancy uniforms or big slogans, just some desks and a lot of work to do. We keep the registers updated and try to make sure nothing gets left behind.
