Hari Har Marbles

Our place is right on the Main Bazar in Kamla Nagar, near the Clock Tower. It's a crowded area, so parking is always a bit of a headache, but we've been at Plot No. 684 for years. It’s mostly just me and a couple of guys helping with the heavy lifting. We have stacks of marble slabs all over the place. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, then other days three trucks show up at once and everything is chaotic. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just walk in because they saw the sign while heading toward G.T. Road. We sell a lot of the standard stuff for kitchens and floors. It's heavy work and my back feels it by the evening. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a lot of stone and some dust. We try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. If you need something specific, you just have to ask and we'll look through the piles. Sometimes we have to move ten slabs just to get to the one someone wants to see. It’s part of the job. Being near the tower makes it easy to find us at least. We've been part of this market for a long time now. Just a local shop doing local business and we hope to be here for another few decades.
