Gayatri Dyes & Chemicals

Tilak Bazar is a crowded place, and our office, number 2339, is tucked right into the middle of it. It’s an old area with a lot of history. Every day, we deal with different dyes and industrial chemicals. My hands usually have a bit of color on them by noon, which is hard to wash off. The stairs up to the office are narrow and steep. We have stacks of invoices and ledgers on the desks. It isn't a modern glass building; it’s a place where real work happens. You can hear the carts and rickshaws outside all day long. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the street while we go over the stock lists. People come in and out looking for specific shades or chemical batches. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there is always a bit of chaos. It’s part of the charm, I suppose. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the orders to worry about that. We just focus on getting the chemicals out to the people who need them. It is a straightforward business. No big speeches or fancy logos here. Just a lot of weighing, packing, and making sure the math is right at the end of the day.
