Gautam Marbles

If you ever find yourself in the Mangolpur Kalan Marble Market, you will find Gautam Marbles at Plot No.70/1/1. This market is always crowded and noisy, but we like it that way. We have been working out of this plot for years. It’s a dusty place because of all the stone being moved around nearby, but that’s just part of the job. We keep our slabs lined up so people can walk through and see the patterns. There is no air conditioning or fancy showroom here, just the stone and the open air. We spend our days talking to contractors and homeowners who are looking for something specific. Sometimes we have to move twenty slabs just to get to the one at the back. It’s a lot of physical labor. Our neighbors in the market are all doing the same thing, so there is a bit of a community feeling here. We usually have a truck loading or unloading right in front, which can make the road a bit tight. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just have marble and we sell it to whoever needs it for their floors or counters. The plot at 70/1/1 is our home base and it’s where you’ll find us from Monday to Saturday. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a very busy part of town. We just keep going.
