Discount Book Store

Our shop, Discount Book Store, is located in Jahangirpuri. and it’s exactly what the name suggests. We have stacks of books everywhere you look. It’s not a neat and tidy bookstore where everything is alphabetized perfectly. You usually have to dig through a few piles to find what you are looking for. We have all sorts of things, from old school textbooks to novels that have seen better days. The shop is small and can feel a bit cramped when more than three people are inside. We don't have fancy lighting or comfortable chairs to sit and read. Most of our customers are local students or people from the neighborhood looking for a cheap read. Jahangirpuri. is a busy, working-class area, and we fit right in. We keep the prices low because we know people around here don’t want to spend a fortune on a book they might only read once. There’s a certain smell of old paper that hits you as soon as you walk in. Sometimes we get new stock in and it just sits in boxes for a few days until we find a spot for it. It’s a bit of a mess, but it’s an honest mess. We don't do any big promotions or sales events; the prices are always low. If you have some time to spare and don’t mind getting a little dust on your hands, you’ll probably find something worth taking home.
