Ankit Marble Suppliers

Our spot is on Borawar Road, right near Subroto Park, and it’s usually a very busy place to be during the day. As suppliers, we spend most of our time talking to drivers and making sure the marble slabs are loaded correctly so they don't crack on the bumpy roads. Borawar Road can get pretty cramped when two big trucks try to pass each other, so there’s often a bit of shouting and gesturing to get things moving. We have different types of marble sitting in the racks, some from nearby and some from further away. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying, which is hard on the back, but that’s just the job. People stop by to look at the stock, and we just show them what’s available on the ground at that moment. There isn't a showroom or anything like that, just the warehouse and the outdoor space where the trucks pull in. The ground is covered in small stone chips that crunch under your shoes when you walk around. We usually keep a pot of water in the shade for whoever is working or waiting for their load to be ready. It’s a simple setup, and we’ve been at this location for a while now. Most of our days are just filled with checking orders and watching the traffic go by while we wait for the next delivery to arrive. It is a noisy but honest way to spend the day.
