A.K. & Sons

You’ll find us at 178 Meena Bazar, right by the Jama Masjid area. It’s a crowded spot, full of history and noise, and we’ve been part of it for years. A.K. & Sons is basically a family thing. My father started it, and now we all just pitch in to keep it going. Being in Meena Bazar means there is always something happening outside the door. There’s the smell of food from the nearby stalls and the sound of people haggling all day long. Our shop isn't big, but we pack a lot into it. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just stand behind the counter and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped with all the stock we keep, but we know where everything is, mostly. If you come by on a Friday, it's even more packed around here because of the prayers at the Masjid. We mostly deal with locals and people who have been coming to this market for generations. It’s how business is done here. We don't spend money on shiny signs. The old one works fine. We just try to be honest with people about what we have and what we don't. It’s a simple life in a very busy part of Delhi. We like the chaos of the bazaar. It feels like home to us. Every day is a bit different, but the work stays the same and we're okay with that.
