Rohit Construction and Material Supplier operates out of our family home, which is house number 144 in Naya Gaon village. We’re located right off the Shimla Bypass Road, so it’s pretty easy for the big trucks to get in and out without getting stuck. It started out as something small, just helping out neighbors in the village with sand or bricks for their small home repairs. Now we handle a lot more material for bigger building projects all around this area. Since we live and work in the same place, someone from the family is almost always around if a neighbor needs to ask a question. The yard gets messy with all the piles of stone and cement bags, but that’s just the nature of this business. My family has been living in Naya Gaon for a long time, so everyone around here knows where to find us. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a website. You just pull up to the gate, tell us what you’re building, and we see what we can get delivered for you. Sometimes the weather makes the bypass road a bit tricky for the heavy loads, especially when the rains are heavy, but we do our best to stay on some kind of schedule. It’s hard work, mostly loading and unloading. We aren't trying to be some giant company. We just want to provide the materials folks need for their homes.
