Raj Metals

We are located over at 579 Bahkhandi Road in Rishikesh. It is pretty close to the roadways bus stand. It is a noisy part of town, but that suits us just fine because we work with metal all day. We have got a lot of inventory stacked up, from metal sheets to iron rods. Even though we are based in Rishikesh, we end up sending a lot of our stuff over to Dehradun too. People over there seem to need what we have in stock. The shop floor is always a bit messy with metal scraps and various tools lying around. We don't have a showroom with fancy lights or carpets. You just come in, look at the metal, and we weigh it out or cut it to size if that is what you need. It is a gritty, dirty job. Our hands are usually stained with grease or metal dust by the time the day ends. We have been here for years, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the metal being moved around. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the traffic on the way to Dehradun, but we try to keep things moving. We aren't into big advertising. We just deal with whoever walks through the door or calls us up. The floor is concrete and it has seen a lot of wear over the years. We have a small corner where we keep scrap metal that is still good for smaller jobs. It is a bit of a maze.
