Shri Durga Loha Bhandar Pvt. Ltd. is situated right at the Subhash Nagar Crossing on Saharanpur Road. We are directly opposite the B. M. Hyundai showroom, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone looking. It’s a noisy spot with all the traffic coming through the crossing. Our place is basically a warehouse and a small front office. There is a lot of iron and steel moving in and out all day. You’ll see trucks parked nearby quite often. The floors are dusty from the metal and the yard is always full of activity. We don't wear suits here. It’s heavy work and we dress for it. The office is just a place to keep the ledgers and handle the payments. It has a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise and some old wooden chairs. We’ve been at this location for a long time. People in the area know us as the place to get their hardware and metal supplies. We don’t do any fancy marketing. Word of mouth usually brings people in. We just tell them the price and help them load up their vehicles. It can get very hot in the summer with all that metal around. We usually keep a big jug of cold water for anyone who stops by. It’s an old-school way of doing business. We stay busy, we keep the stock moving, and we try to be fair with everyone who walks in the gate.
