Mount Boutique

We are located in Resham Majri, just a short walk from the main chowk. Mount Boutique has been around this neighborhood for a bit, and we mostly focus on clothes and tailoring for the local people who live nearby. The shop is small and usually filled to the ceiling with different fabrics and thread rolls. We don’t have a big team or anything like that, just a few of us who know how to handle a sewing machine and a sharp pair of scissors. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders coming in at once, especially around the big festival times or the wedding season. We usually have fabric stacked up on the wooden shelves and measuring tapes draped over our shoulders all day. It’s not a high-end showroom with bright lights and mirrors; it’s more of a real workspace where things actually get made by hand. People come in with their own ideas or sometimes they just pick something we’ve already finished and have hanging up. We spend a lot of time sitting at the workbenches, making sure the stitching is right and the fit is good. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit to continue, but that’s just how it is here near the chowk. We try to keep our prices fair so our neighbors keep coming back to us. It’s a simple living and we enjoy the daily routine.
