Down in the Society Area of Clement Town, you’ll find us at House Number 94. We’re right near the post office here in Dehradun. It’s a beautiful part of the world to work in, honestly. The air feels a bit fresher than the big cities, and we have a view of the hills when the weather is clear. This Larsen And Toubro Ltd office is pretty modest. It’s a house that we’ve turned into our base of operations for the area. It’s got a small garden out front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. We spend our time managing the local projects and keeping the paperwork in order. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment in the way you might think. We have our busy seasons, of course, but there’s a slower pace to life in Uttarakhand that seeps into the office too. We drink a lot of tea and talk through the problems we need to solve. It’s a very hands-on way of working. Most of us live nearby, so we know the community well. We don’t need a big flashy office to do what we do. House Number 94 is more than enough for us to get the job done and stay connected to what’s happening in the region. We just keep our heads down and do what we can to keep the work moving forward. It’s a quiet life but we like being part of this town.
