Jet Computer Clinic

We're tucked inside Deena Nath Palace. It's mostly just computers and parts here at Jet Computer Clinic. You'll see screens, keyboards, and tangled wires all over the place if you walk in. People bring in their old laptops that won't turn on or desktops that have started making weird grinding noises. I’ve been fixing these machines for a long time and usually, it’s just a lot of dust inside the cases. Deena Nath Palace is a familiar building to most people living around here so it's a good landmark. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s really more of a workshop where we get our hands dirty. You’ll usually see me or one of the other guys with a screwdriver or a soldering iron. We take things apart and try to put them back together so they actually work again. Sometimes it's just a simple software fix that takes twenty minutes, but other times we have to order parts from elsewhere which can take a few days. We try to tell people honestly if a machine is worth the cost of fixing or if it’s just total junk. No point in lying to the neighbors. The lighting isn't the greatest in here but we have some good desk lamps for the detailed work. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for software to install. It’s a small space, so it feels crowded if more than two people come in at once. It's just steady work for us.
