We are situated right by the RTO checkpost in the Tapovan area. It is a place that many people know for its calm atmosphere. Our building is quite simple and has several different rooms that we use for our daily activities. We have been here for a long time now. If the wind is blowing the right way, you can hear the river nearby. We keep yoga mats laid out on the floors and there is usually the faint scent of incense in the air. This is not a high-tech gym with fancy equipment. It is just a dedicated space for yoga studies. We have people coming in from all different places. Some stay for a long period and others just drop in for a few hours. The walls are painted in light, soft colors and we have plenty of windows to keep the air moving. Outside, the street can get quite busy with all the traffic headed toward the checkpost. We do our best to keep the inside of the building as quiet as we can. There is a small space at the entrance where everyone leaves their shoes. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find out about us from their friends or by just walking past. We handle all the daily chores ourselves, from sweeping the floors to making sure there is fresh water for everyone. It is a very hands-on and simple way of running the institute in Tapovan.
