City Lites

City Lites is located right here in Dehradun, specifically in the Payal Cinema Compound on Rajpur Road. If you know this area, you know it gets incredibly packed with cars and people, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading out. Being on the ground floor is a real help because nobody has to bother with climbing stairs. Gandhi Park is right across the street from us, so we get a lot of noise and energy from that side too. Sometimes you can hear the muffled sounds from the cinema when a big movie is playing. The shop itself is okay; we have got some stuff on display and a few chairs for when people want to sit and talk. It gets quite cold in the winters here in Dehradun, so we usually have a small heater going near the main desk just to stay warm. Most of the people who stop by are just folks already in the area for the cinema or walking along the park. We have been in this compound for a long time now. It is a decent spot for us. We do not do much fancy marketing or anything. People just find us because they are already walking by. It is a bit messy inside with boxes and various things piled up, but we know where everything is kept. We just open up and stay until the sun goes down. It is just a regular local business.
