Bombay Toys & Plastic House

Bombay Toys & Plastic House is located on the first floor at No.86 in Paltan Bazar. Getting up the stairs with big boxes can be a real pain sometimes, especially when the market downstairs is crowded. We have been here for a while now, selling all sorts of plastic goods and toys for kids. It is not a very big space, so things tend to get stacked up pretty high near the ceiling. You will see dolls, cars, and kitchen sets squeezed in next to plastic buckets and storage bins. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you come inside, it is bright enough to see everything. Usually, it is just one or two of us working here, trying to keep track of what is in the back and what is on the shelves. People from the neighborhood come by looking for birthday gifts or just something for the house. We do not have any fancy displays or a big staff to help everyone at once. Sometimes you have to wait a minute while we find the right size or color you want. It gets pretty dusty with all the traffic from the street outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It is a simple shop, really. We just try to have what people ask for when they walk in from the bazaar. There is no website or anything, just us at the shop every day.
