Our office is tucked away at 22/C in Dehradun Cantt. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the main city, located right in the Dilaram Bagar area near the Old Survey. Working here as Abhinandan Events & Wedding Planner feels a bit different because of the surroundings. Dehradun has that calm air, and being in the Cantt area makes it even more peaceful. We spend most of our time talking about weddings, which is funny because our own office is quite plain and functional. There are piles of fabric samples on one desk and a stack of guest list drafts on another. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have everyone in at once, but we make it work. We’ve been at this for a while, and we’ve seen all sorts of requests. Some days are just about finding the right shade of marigold or arguing over which tent style fits a backyard better. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do a decent job for the families that come to see us. The walk to the Old Survey nearby is a good way to clear our heads when things get too busy. We like the local feel of Dilaram Bagar. It’s a place where people still stop to say hello and ask how things are going. That’s the kind of vibe we try to keep in our work too, just being straightforward and helpful to the locals.
