Saha Computers

We set up Saha Computers right at Golma Chowk on the Tangla Road. It’s a good spot because everyone passes through here eventually on their way to work or home. We do a bit of everything when it comes to PCs and electronics. If someone’s laptop won't turn on or they need a new part installed, they usually bring it to us to have a look. The shop is small and has that smell of old electronics and hot solder. We have a workbench in the back that is always a mess with screws, wires, and various screwdrivers. I’ve been fixing machines since I was a teenager, so this felt like the right thing to do with my time. The power goes out sometimes in this area, which makes testing computers a bit of a challenge throughout the day. We just wait for it to come back on and keep working on whatever is on the bench. People from the nearby villages also come in when they have issues with their tablets or phones. It’s not just computers, honestly. We try to help with whatever electronic gadget is broken and needs fixing. It’s a one-man show most of the time, though my younger cousin hangs around to learn the trade. We don't have a big sign, just a hand-painted one over the door. The road outside is dusty and noisy, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the hardware. It’s a steady job that keeps us busy.
