Yovan Organic Private Limited is located up in the Darjeeling area, specifically at Venchi Jote in New Chamtamatigara. Living and working here means we deal with a lot of hills and sometimes unpredictable weather that can change in an hour. We focus on organic goods, which is pretty common for this region, but we have our own way of doing things that we've developed over time. Our office isn't much to look at from the outside. It's a simple building with a good view of the greenery and the mist when it rolls in. We spend a lot of time coordinating with local growers and making sure they have what they need. The air here is thin and crisp, and it makes you feel like working hard. We don't have a big corporate structure with bosses and assistants. It's just a group of us who care about how things are grown in these parts. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch or tell you we are the best. We just produce what we can and hope people like the quality. The roads can be a bit rough and bumpy, so getting our products down to the main towns takes some real effort and time. We use old trucks that have seen better days and often need a bit of a kick to start. Every day is different here. Some days we are buried in spreadsheets, and other days we are out in the fields. We like the variety.
