Vidyasagar English School

We've been here in Babu Para for a good while now. Most people around Naxalbari know where we are, just tucked away in Siliguri. It’s a busy place every morning when the kids start arriving. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of space for them to run around during the breaks. The desks are a little old but they do the job just fine. Our teachers show up early and stay late most days. It gets noisy, especially when the bell goes off for lunch, but that's just how a school is. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the monsoon rain makes everything a bit messy around the gates. Parents stop by to chat or ask about exams, and we usually have someone in the office to talk to them. It’s not a fancy building with glass walls or anything like that. Just brick and paint and lots of charts on the walls that the students made. We spend a lot of time making sure the books are covered and the blackboards are clean for the next day. It’s a lot of work running a place like this in Siliguri. Sometimes the fans are loud and we have to fix a window or two. That’s just life here. We don’t have a big playground, but the kids find ways to play anyway. It's just a regular school where we focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure everyone shows up on time.
