English Tutorial Centre

Our place is called the English Tutorial Centre and we’re located on Agam Chakra Road. It’s in the Desh Bandhu Para area of Siliguri. We’ve been here for a long time, teaching kids and adults how to get better with their language skills. It’s not a big school or a fancy institute. It’s really just a few rooms in a building where we’ve set up some benches and a chalkboard. The road outside can be a bit dusty and loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. Usually, a parent tells another parent about us, and that’s how new students show up. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just books and a lot of practice. The desks are a bit old, but they do the job. We wanted to stay in Desh Bandhu Para because it’s a central spot for many families. It makes it easier for the kids to walk here after their regular classes are done. Some days the rooms are full and it gets a bit hot, but we just keep going. It’s a very basic setup. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Siliguri. We just want to make sure people can read and write a bit better than when they first walked in. That’s why we’re here on Agam Chakra Road.
