Teaplus Connection

Teaplus Connection is over in Lokenath Nagar, right across from the Santoshi Maa Mandir. We are in the Bagdogra area, which is part of the Darjeeling district. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because everyone knows the mandir. The atmosphere here is a mix of the spiritual quiet from the temple and the busy-ness of Bagdogra, especially with the airport not too far away. Our business is focused on tea, as the name suggests. We’ve got a small setup where we handle our connections and orders. It’s not a big corporate building, just a local spot where we can get our work done. Sometimes you can hear the bells from the temple while we’re sitting at our desks, which is actually quite nice. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure our tea is getting where it needs to go. We’re just regular people who have lived in this part of Bengal for a long time. The office is a bit cluttered with samples and files, but we know where everything is. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us because they’re in Lokenath Nagar or they heard about us from someone else in the tea trade. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we like being part of the community here near the mandir. We usually keep the door open to catch the breeze, even if it brings in a bit of dust from the road outside.
