North East Beverages

You can find North East Beverages located over at the Trape Confectionery spot. We are situated near the Bhanghapool Road, right by the Pankhabari More in the Matigara area. Since it is in the Darjeeling district, the weather can be quite unpredictable for us. Sometimes it is perfectly clear and you can see the distant hills, but other times it is just thick gray mist everywhere. We work out of this specific spot right near the busy junction. Pankhabari More is a place where people are always crossing paths and moving about. Our daily work is entirely focused on beverages. It involves a lot of cold water and a good amount of heavy lifting. We do not have a fancy showroom or a place for guests to sit. It is more of a combined warehouse and production area for us. We spend a lot of time on our phones coordinating with the drivers who are trying to find their way through the streets of Matigara. The roads around Bhanghapool Road can be a bit rough and muddy after the heavy rains. We have been here for a long time now, so we know all the local shortcuts. It is a very small team here. We do everything ourselves, from unloading the heavy raw materials to stacking the finished crates on the trucks. We don't talk about things like excellence or vision. We just talk about whether the next truck is going to be late or if we need more sugar. It is a practical life in Matigara.
