North Bengal Tea & Allied

We are based over in Ganga Nagar, specifically on Hanuman Mandir Road in Siliguri. Our office is in Ward No 5, which is part of the Darjeeling district area. It’s a very local neighborhood, and you can always hear the bells from the temple nearby. North Bengal Tea & Allied has been around for a bit, and we mostly focus on the tea that comes through Siliguri, which is a huge hub for the whole region. The office is a simple place where we keep track of different batches and talk to the people who bring the tea down. It gets quite hot and humid here during the summer months, but we just get on with the work. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. It is just a few of us who know the tea industry around here and do our best to keep things running smoothly. There are always trucks moving around this part of town, so it can get a bit noisy and dusty on the road outside. We spend our time checking samples and making sure the orders are ready for whoever needs them. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. Most people in the ward know where we are if they need to find us. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
