Mayukh Tea

Our shop is located at 9B, Chowrasta More, right near the Bank of Baroda. If you’ve ever walked around the main square here, you probably passed us without even thinking about it. We’re in a spot where there’s always someone walking by, either a local heading to the market or someone visiting from out of town. The shop is small and filled from floor to ceiling with different tea boxes. It can be a bit hard to move around when there are more than two or three people inside. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the shelves we built ourselves years ago. Most of our day is spent weighing out tea and talking to people who want to know where it came from. We aren't experts in marketing, so we don't have any shiny brochures or anything. We just tell people what we have and let them smell the leaves. The weather here can be a bit unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time watching the mist come in over the square. It’s a decent place to work, even if the floorboards creak a bit when you walk on them. We like being near the bank because it makes it easy for people to find us. It’s a straightforward business, and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in.
