Mahima Tea Company

Mahima Tea Company is based right in Champasari Village. Our post office is also Champasari, and we are situated in the Darjeeling District. Being in this part of the country, tea is everywhere, but we have our own way of doing things. It’s a small operation run by people who grew up around here. We don't have any fancy mission statements or glossy brochures. We just know the tea business from the ground up. The village is a good place to work, even if the roads are a bit bumpy sometimes. We spend a lot of time in the warehouse area making sure everything is sorted correctly. You can usually find us there from early morning. The air here is often misty, which is good for the plants but makes the mornings a bit damp. We don't try to compete with the massive estates you see on television. We are just a local company trying to provide tea to the people who want it. Our building is just a regular structure in the village, nothing special to look at. We treat our customers like neighbors because most of them actually are. It’s a simple life, focused on the quality of the leaves and making sure the orders go out on time. There’s no need for big words when the product speaks for itself. We just take it one day at a time and keep our focus on the work.
