Ambika Tea Traders

Ambika Tea Traders is located on Mahila Ashram Road, right in Sirki Mohalla. It’s a busy little neighborhood. We’ve been doing tea trading from here for several years. The building is older but it serves its purpose. We deal with different types of tea throughout the year. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers moving crates. The road outside can get narrow when trucks come to unload. We have to be quick about it. My father started this and now I’m the one mostly looking after things. We don’t have a big corporate team. It’s just a regular local business. We know most of the neighbors. Sometimes it gets dusty with all the traffic, but we manage. We keep our stock in the back room. It smells like dry tea leaves all the time in there. Some people find that nice. We don’t use any fancy machines for packing. We do a lot of things by hand still. It’s how we’ve always done it. If you walk down Mahila Ashram Road, you can’t miss us. We’re usually there from early morning. It’s a lot of work but it’s okay. We don't bother with big slogans. We just sell tea to whoever needs it. That's the whole story. We're just here to do our job and go home at the end of the day. It's been like that for years.
